Leah's Dance Academy

LDA was founded by Leah Yates in April 2000 originally as Step-in-Time Dance School. All coaching staff have been trained by Leah, starting out as students of LDA making us a family away from home. 

All coaches continue to further their knowledge and qualification as part of personal development. We are all First Aid Trained alongside Safeguarding, Health & Safety and hold fully enhanced DBS. All our certificates are displayed in our studio and can be viewed at anytime. All coaches are also fully insured. 

We follow the IDTA (International Dance Teacher Association) grade Syllabus for Ballet, Tap, Freestyle, Rock 'n' Roll, Slow & Acro. NDTA (National Dance Teachers Association) for Ballroom & Latin. We are also active members of the ADFP (Association of Dance for Freestyle Professionals) and follow IASF Rules for Cheerleading. 

Our studio is available to rent to qualified teachers/professionals that offer services that compliment genres already provided.
