TYPES OF COMPETITIONS WE OFFER
ADFP
These competitions can only be entered via a registered and qualified teacher in Freestyle. Professionals must be a member of the ADFP and performers must be ADFP registered amateurs. For more information and rules of being an ADFP recognised teacher/school contact ADFP.co.uk
KNOCK OUT
No membership required. Knock out competitions vary at each event with genre offered but can include Street, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Cheerleading & Pom. All dancers for the age and genre will dance at the same time with judges recalling 2/3's through to the next round until eventually a final of up to 7 performers is made. Music is random on the day and played by our own resident DJ however Musical Theatre events will have music nominated upon registration for the performers own interpretation. KNOCK OUT AGE GROUPS
KNOCK OUT Solos, Pairs & Trios
U6 (up to age 5) U8 (6&7yrs) U10 (8&9 yrs) U12 (10&11 yrs) U14 (12&13 yrs) U16 (14 &15 yrs) Adult (16+)
Pairs & Trio dance the the oldest dancer
SPOTLIGHT TEAMS
Infants: Up to and including school Year 2
Juniors: School years 3-6
Seniors: School years 7-11
Adults: From school year 13
Dancers age is that on the day of the competition
Teams enter the age group according to majority of the team with at least 75% in the correct age category.
